Congratulations to all our newest graduates and welcome to the Faculty of Science extended family!
For science graduates, the June 19th convocation event was the culmination of years of dedication and perseverance. For a select few of our many star students, it was the perfect time to be honoured for their hard work and incredible achievements.
Véronique Boucher-Lalonde, PhD Biology, was awarded the Governor General's Gold Medal in Science and Engineering, in recognition of the most outstanding doctoral performance in these two faculties.
Two of our students were presented with a Governor General's Silver Medal in the Humanities and Sciences, an award to the student with the highest cumulative grade point average in an honours bachelor’s or equivalent program in the humanities or sciences (for all of uOttawa!).
