1Of the 18 elective credits, some breadth in other sciences is recommended and the following course are recommended in particular: CHM1321, GNG1106 or ITI1120 (see also note 2 and 3).
2 ITI1120 is a prerequisite for most further courses in computer science. GNG1106 is recommended for students not taking further computer science courses.
3 (MAT2141 or MAT2342) or (MAT2371 or MAT2377) is recommended.
For students registered in the Faculty of Science: If the components of your program of study require common compulsory courses, you will have to replace the credits as follows:
1) 1000-level courses must be replaced with electives;
2) 2000-level courses and above must be replaced with courses from either discipline at the same level or above.
Please note that all programs in the Faculty of Science require a minimum of 12 credits from the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management. Once you have decided on the replacement courses, please inform the Office of Undergraduate Programs of the Faculty of Science by email at infosci@uOttawa.ca so we may amend your Rabaska accordingly.
