Jacob Raymond completed his BA Honors in Financial Mathematics and Economics in the winter of 2019. During his CO-OP placements, he worked three times at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), specifically in the Manufacturing and Life Sciences Branch, where he demonstrated excellence through his dedication, professionalism and integrity. Working at ISED has allowed him to learn new skills, including learning more about programming languages such as Python. Adam Slade, his supervisor, admires Jacob’s ability “to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, with our computer scientists and business analysts to bridge the knowledge gaps between these fields.”
Dr. Joseph Khoury received funding for outreach activities from the NSERC's PromoScience program. The funding will support our outreach activities such as Math Horizons Day, Math Camp and Math Club, and will allow the creation of new initiatives.
