
Master of Science Mathematics and Statistics Concentration in Mathematics (MSc)

The Concentration in Mathematics will deepen your capacity to study abstract concepts and apply them to real challenges.

Put your knowledge to work by completing a paid CO-OP placement. To offer you exciting placements, our professors forge links with organizations like the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, Statistics Canada and the Tutte Institute for Mathematics and Computing. What’s more, you can also take part in the Math Club and enjoy discussions with professional mathematicians.

The department is renowned for its diverse research in pure and applied mathematics, and is home to the University Research Chair in Quantum Information and Cryptography and the Canada Research Chair in Mathematical Genomics.
